In Rochefort, pearl of the Ardennes, you will find the beautiful Château de Vignée. Raised from local natural stone and built on the ruins of the old building, this fine location refers to the centuries-old history of the domain.

The castle has 25 unique rooms. Hotel guests can choose from different room types, namely Royal Suite, Junior Suite, Superior Room, Deluxe Room, Comfort Room Château and Comfort Room Lesse. Each room also refers to the distinctive landscape of the Ardennes.

Culinary dining

At Château de Vignée, you will enjoy the local cuisine. Gault & Millau chef Kwinten Boelen is happy to introduce you to his gastronomic delights with fresh local ingredients.

Meetings and Events

Besides the main building, Château de Vignée also has two unique and luminous rooms, perfect locations to organise meetings or events in an extraordinary setting. The larger of the two, room ‘Bordeaux’, is slightly more spacious and has a mezzanine. The room has an area of 200m2, suitable for 45 to 265 guests depending on the table arrangement. Room ‘Bourgogne’, on the other hand, has a surface area of 120 m², making it ideal for smaller events for 30 to 145 guests. Both rooms are perfect for various moments and groups, from intimate private to business or festive. Thanks to the adjoining outdoor areas, presentation possibilities through wireless projection via Barco Clickshare and wifi connection, both rooms can be customised to the client’s individual requirements. Moreover, the various dining and party packages cater to every culinary need.

Rejuvenate

During a virtuous stay at Château de Vignée and the Ardennes, you can also pamper your body and mind in the castle’s spa. Here you will discover various wellness rituals. Indoor in the hammam and swimming pool or outdoor in the Finnish sauna overlooking the riverbank. Outside, you will also find an invigorating ice bucket shower and two Kneipp water pools. On request, you can also enjoy a facial or body treatment. Exclusively with products and oils from Caudalie, a French label that opts for natural ingredients that respect the environment and the skin by using 100% plant-based raw materials.

Long meeting or successful meeting behind you? High time to get some fresh air. Thanks to its perfect location in nature, Château de Vignée is the perfect base to explore the Ardennes hills via a quiet walk or a brisk hike. Maybe you prefer to explore the picturesque villages in the valley by bike? That too is possible. After all, the domain rents out regular bikes or mountain bikes. Rather play a round of royal golf? Near the estate is the Royal Golf Club Château Royal d’Ardenne, on the grounds of Leopold II’s castle. The golf course has 18 holes and natural elevation changes, with several impressive views of the green surroundings. Plenty of choice!
