Are you looking for a pleasant space for your company in a quiet and comfortable environment? Do you want to organise a teambuilding, a workshop, an exhibition, a family event? Then you are welcome in Watou, a district of the ‘hop city’ Poperinge.

The seminar house “Douviehuis2020”, situated in the centre of Watou, the renowned art village, has 5 charming rooms. They provide the ideal setting for your event.  Each room has its own unique character.

‘Le Grenier’ and the adjacent ‘l’Etage’ are located on the top floor and can be used as relaxation room, exhibition room or meeting room. ‘De Voute’, located on the first floor, is the ideal place to organise a reception, but,just like ‘Le Grenier’ and ‘l’Etage’, this room is equipped with a beamer and a screen.

‘Le Damberd’ is on the ground floor and is a fully equipped bar with a comfortable lounge area, overlooking the picturesque village square.  There is also ‘La Chaperonne’, a very extensive kitchen, which is perfect for team cooking, wine tasting, …

Next to the seminar house ‘Douviehuis2020’ you will find ‘Het Douviehuis’, a  5-star holiday home for 32 people.  Het Douviehuis has 10 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms.  Here too, two living rooms can be used as meeting rooms.  One room – with an adjoining fully equipped open kitchen – is equipped with a screen, projector and conference table, the other room is perfect for a small working session.

All rooms are equipped with WIFI and the courtyard and the Watou market square are large enough for parking.  You are free of catering, but we also offer a few different seminar formulas for residential seminars.  You can find these on the website.

Our concierge takes care of the very familiar atmosphere: she cooks the eggs for breakfast, she provides the seminar guests with continuous coffee breaks with fresh fruit, biscuits and sweets and she takes care of lunch.  In short, everyone is pampered at our place!
