Convention centre with meeting rooms surrounded by nature in the Ardennes – Bastogne War Museum
Looking for a unique location with a real ‘experience’ for a reception, dinner, meeting, seminar, teambuilding, congress or family day?
The Bastogne War Museum offers it all in the middle of the Ardennes!
4 THEMATIC INGERATED ROOMS with natural daylight and a magnificent view of the surrounding nature can be rented during the day or in the evening. Depending on your preferences and the size of your group, you can choose to privatise the following rooms:
1- MUSTANG FLIGHT ZONE (max. 150p.) located under a P-51 type plane: This place is a tribute to Major George Preddy, a ‘boulder’ of American aviation who was killed during the Battle of the Bulge while piloting his plane.
2- BASTOGNE CONVENTION CENTER (400 m2 – 300p.) is the ideal venue for your large-scale events. The hall is very well equipped and has a giant 20 m2 screen, quality multimedia installations. The reservation of this hall also includes that of the “Mustang Flight Zone” for your reception.
3- BISTROT DE LA PAIX is available in the evening after 6pm (50-120p.). This replica of an inviting tavern from the 1950s features a beautiful, sunny terrace overlooking the Mardasson.
4- MEETING ROOM (42p.) Beautiful room with all multimedia and stunning views of the full-size replica of Major George Preddy’s aircraft, a P51-Mustang.
DIVERSE INDOOR AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES can all be found on the Bastogne War Museum site to offer a unique experience to your guests: immersive experience of the museum, guided visits to the battlefield, tour in a vintage jeep, waymarked historical walks, coaching sessions, projection in a 1950s cinema room, appointment on the battlefield with our augmented reality app, etc.
A MORE SUSTAINABLE EVENT thanks to accessibility for visitors with limited mobility in the museum; reuse of waste and recycling; and use of local products sourced from local producers.
NATURE INSPIRES AND CONNECTS
Our meeting rooms are surrounded by nature and its positive effects on our minds. The Bastogne War Museum is also part of the Liberation Route Europe, a cultural route recognised by the Council of Europe. The route connects the most important memorial sites of the liberation of the continent between 1943 and 1945. From our museum, several walking and cycling routes depart along indispensable historical monuments. Ask for your picnic basket or a suckling pig on a spit with local beer tasting and complete your outdoor experience!
