The Exhibition, Meeting and Congress Centre (BMCC) has been open since January 2022. This state-of-the-art facility, designed by renowned architect Eduardo Souto De Moura and META architecture firm, was festively inaugurated in December 2021.
A venue for exceptional events
The BMCC offers the ideal venue for unique events, congresses and fairs. This extraordinary location, within walking distance of numerous hotels and world-famous attractions in Bruges, meets all modern requirements for events and congresses.
The exhibition hall, with an impressive area of 4,500 m² and a height of 7.5 metres, provides the perfect space for trade fairs, large public events and even concerts. Thanks to its flexible design, the glass walls can be opened for covered outdoor space during public events or closed for more privacy and acoustic insulation.
Various spaces and capacities
The BMCC offers different levels with various functions:
Level O welcomes guests with a spacious entrance hall, ideal for registration and reception. Here you will also find cloakrooms and toilets on level -1, as well as an underground car park with 90 parking spaces.
Level -1 houses a spacious foyer and the plenary hall, with seating for 514 guests. The hall can be split into two separate rooms for 257 people each. This versatile space offers various configuration options and is fully darkenable.
On Level 3, you will find 12 meeting rooms of various sizes, all equipped with natural light, basic technical equipment such as screens and beamers, and blackout facilities. Flexible walls allow some rooms to be adapted to specific needs.
Level 4 houses an impressive 675 m² catering space, with an adjacent terrace with breathtaking views of Bruges’ historic city centre. This space is suitable for receptions, dinners, parties and more. A well-equipped kitchen ensures smooth service. There is also a smaller VIP catering room of 92 m² for intimate dinners.
