At The Outsider, young & old push their limits. No shortage of adventure experiences, with two climbing towers, two deathrides, a water ski cable, a swamp course, electric off-road steps and so much more. At The Outsider Flemish Ardennes you will find a domain full of outdoor experiences, taking place on and around the Donkvijver in Oudenaarde.

Up the wall, down the zipline

Climb the 9-metre-high via ferrata and be rewarded by the idyllic view over Oudenaarde’s city centre and the Donkvijver with all its green corners. The spectacular descent with the Aqua Deathride over the Donkvijver leaves nobody untouched. Calm only returns once you reach the other side on the impressive little island in the middle of the Donkvijver. To set foot back on shore, we come one by one with the pedalotaxi to pick each other up.

Plough through the swamp

In the woods of the leisure park you will find a spectacular swamp course, with climbing, scrambling bridges over the water. Your balance will be tested on the craziest wooden constructions. At the end of the tour, we will see by the wet clothes who is or is not good at balance… Help each other and last as long as possible with a dry suit!

Head into the laser battle forest

Together with a monitor, you head into the forest for an exciting laser shooting game. Divided into two teams, different missions are played, all with different objectives. Defenders, attackers and counsellors are needed, and communication is crucial here to defeat the enemy.

At The Outsider, we are convinced that adventure really is for everyone. Athletes, less athletic, young, old, in great shape or with a disability, … There is something for everyone. During fixed opening hours, there are many activities to experience, but customised programmes can also be organised for groups. Our monitoring team is already on hand to ensure visitors have an unforgettable day!
